Devlog: New 16x16 Skeleton Enemy Released!


Hey everyone! 👋

I’ve just released a brand-new addition to my pixel platformer series — the 16x16 Skeleton Enemy!
This creepy-yet-charming undead foe is perfect for adding life (or unlife) to your worlds, and comes with five full animations:

  • ⚔️ Attack

  • 💢 Hurt

  • 🪦 Death

  • 🚶 Move

  • 💀 Idle

I wanted this one to feel like a classic platformer enemy — easy to read, satisfying to defeat, and smooth in motion. It’s built to drop straight into your levels without extra setup.

💡 Behind the Design

The skeleton was inspired by the kind of enemies you’d meet in older dungeon-style platformers.
I paid special attention to make sure the attack and death animations were quick and snappy, so they feel natural during gameplay.

It also pairs perfectly with my Knight and Slime character packs — together, they’re starting to build a nice little pixel world!

🧱 What’s Next

I’m currently planning to create more enemy types and environmental assets that fit the same 16x16 scale. Maybe goblins, bats, or trap hazards next?
